No. Sabai Jai is a non-medical senior living community. We focus on comfortable, social, and enriching island living. We do not provide clinical care or medical services. Residents who require regular medical support may wish to discuss this with us so we can share what local resources are available nearby.

Who typically joins the community at Sabai Jai?

Our residents are active older adults — typically in their late 50s through 80s — who are drawn to tropical living, value social connection, and appreciate the rhythm of island life. Some arrive for a short stay, others come for a season, and a number decide to make Koh Samui their long-term home.

How do I know which stay option is right for me?

Many people begin with our introductory week to get a genuine sense of community life before making any longer commitment. The Coastal Season Retreat suits those who want an extended stay without permanence. Island Home Residency is for those who are ready to settle in fully. We are happy to talk through the options with you.

Can family members visit or stay with me?

Absolutely. Family visits are warmly encouraged. For Island Home Residency residents, we provide family accommodation on site. For shorter-stay guests, we can assist with nearby accommodation recommendations so loved ones can comfortably join you on the island.

What is included in the pricing?

Pricing varies by programme. Our introductory week (฿6,200) includes accommodation and meals. The Coastal Retreat (฿18,200) adds housekeeping and a personal activity advisor. Full Residency (฿28,800 per month) covers meals, housekeeping, laundry, access to all facilities, events, and family accommodation coordination. We are transparent about any optional extras — please ask us directly.

How is the community managed day to day?

A small, attentive team manages the residence and community spaces. We coordinate activities, meals, housekeeping, and any practical arrangements. The team is available throughout the day and can be reached for any request. Our approach is attentive without being intrusive.

Is English spoken at the residence?

Yes. Our team communicates in English, and many of our residents are international. Thai is also spoken, which adds to the genuine local atmosphere. Koh Samui is one of Thailand's most internationally accessible destinations, and most essential services across the island cater to English speakers comfortably.
